IAP Consultancy has given a boost to children’s charity Heel & Toe by raising £586.43 for the charity.
The donation was the result of a special fundraising event organised by Ian Pratt, Director of IAP Consultancy; attendees enjoyed a race day at their local pub, where both invited guests and the locals contributed generously to the charity collection.
As Ian Pratt explains: “We were delighted to support the Heel and Toe Children’s Charity at the fundraising night and I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part. The charity has helped hundreds of families over the years and it is important that their valuable work continues.”
Amanda Tweedy, Fundraising Executive at Heel & Toe Children’s Charity said:
“We were delighted when Ian and his family visited the Therapy Centre to have a look around and meet some of our children, then consequently decided to support Heel & Toe. The money raised by Ian’s fundraising event will go towards our Footprints Appeal, aiming to raise a final £150,000 towards our second Therapy Centre in Perkinsville, Chester le Street.
“This new building will enable us to help even more disabled children and also extend our range of services, in particular with the provision of a new hydrotherapy pool. Thanks to Ian’s generosity and that of his guests, we are closer to our target of opening our new building to mark our 10th anniversary in October this year.”
